Dressing:
1 c. oil
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Combine dressing ingredients and chill. Pour over salad just before serving. (I think this makes enough for 2 salads.)
Salad:
1 lb. Romaine lettuce
1 pt. strawberries, sliced
1 c. shredded jack cheese
1/2 c. toasted pecans
